Monday, Jan 14th through Wednesday, January 16th

Been sick with strep throat. Haven't eaten much. Ready to get well and get back on my routine. This sucks.

Friday-Sunday

We went for a weekend getaway. We didn't eat well over the weekend, but boy did we work it off. We spent Fri, Sat, and Sunday playing in an indoor waterpark.

Feeling better today

Went to the chiropractor this morning, and I'm feeling a lot better. He's having me increase my crunches and leg lifts on the ball. Went to the gym afterward. Garred will be home tomorrow...can't wait! We miss him. I didn't eat much dinner last night, and after my children went to bad I wanted a snack so bad!!! I usually get one - not last night! I'm very proud of myself for that.

What I ate today:
Nutrigrain bar for breakfast.
Chick fil A sandwich and sweet tea for lunch (I resisted the fries!!!!).
Smoothie for snack (made with splenda at Smoothie King).

Sore today

I'm pretty sore from working out. I ran a little while I was on the treadmill yesterday...maybe that's it. I didn't sleep well last night, either. I never do when Garred is gone.

Watched Biggest Loser last night. I was very shocked at the small weight loss at the end. That show is so inspiring!!! Sad about the brown team, they were my favorite. Now I gotta pick another favorite team to cheer for. Probably the pink team...I love the mom, she reminds me of my mother.

What I'm eating:
Whole wheat toast and milk for breakfast.
Banana for a snack.
Lite caesar salad for lunch.
Low fat chex mix for a snack.
Chicken alfredo with broccoli and peas (skillet meal).

Motivated

OK...so my brother started a fitness blog, and it inspired me to do one too, so here goes. Today marks one week that the family has been on the initiative to lose weight and get healthy. I haven't done my official weekly weigh in, but I'll be going to the gym later today.

What I ate today:
Nutrigrain bar and milk for breakfast.
Turkey sandwich (whole wheat breat) and low fat chex mix for lunch.
Hamburger steak and mashed potatoes for dinner.
Banana for snack.
